Terms and conditions

In consideration of the acceptance of my entry into the Sauce Basketball Academy­­ (Hereinafter, called SBA), I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims for damages for personal injury, property damages or which may hereafter occur to me as a result of participation in said SBA event.

Medical Conditions: All members should consult with his/her physician before allowing their children to use the services provided by SBA or participating in any seasons, sessions or events hosted or conducted by SBA. Member hereby represents and warrants to SBA staff that Member's child (and Member)(some cases may be different), is in good health and has no disability, impairment, injury, disease, or ailment that prevents Member from engaging in active high- intensity exercise, basketball games, and instruction, or which would cause an increased risk of injury or adverse health consequences as a result of such exercise. Member understands and acknowledges that neither SBA, nor any trainer, coach, member, director, officer, employee, school, contractor, advisor or representative of SBA has any expertise in diagnosing, examining or treating any medical condition. This release is intended to discharge in advance Cory “Sauce” Brown and his independent contractor trainers, coaches, assistants, officials, officers, volunteers and agents from any liability, even though that liability may arise out of perceived negligence on the part of persons mentioned above. It is understood that some recreational activities, camps, and sports involve an element of risk or danger of accidents, even accidental death, and knowing those risks, I hereby assume those risks. It is further understood and agreed that this waiver, release, and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs and assignees. I understand that pictures and videos taken during training sessions, games and camps can be used for future promotional use.

COVID-19: I am fully and personally responsible for my own safety and actions while and during any participation and I recognize that I may be in any case be at risk of contracting COVID-19.

Refunds and fees: If a Sauce Basketball Academy session needs to be cancelled because of unforeseen circumstances (ie: weather, COVID-19/sickness, personal, etc), the session must be cancelled within 24 hours prior to it, or payment and credit will be used in full. On some cases, we will issue a credit for any session in the future, but it is up to the sole discretion of the CEO, Cory “Sauce” Brown.

Consent for Treatment: I hereby give my consent to have the above applicant treated by emergency medical personnel, a physician, or surgeon, in the case of sudden illness or injury while participating in the above activity. It is understood that SBA staff will provide no medical insurance for such treatment and that the cost thereof will be at my (participant) expense.

Travel: Members of the SBA are mobile and can come to such locations that the client can request. A travel fee will incur depending on distance from the headquarters location (Maroubra)/Eastern Suburbs and will address extra fee accordingly.
